the Apple Store Friendly Center in Greensboro, NC
By Ian Meyer, @frijole
Marcus started a Facebook event for the opening. Dan found it somewhere around 11, and after we both posted, he came out around 2:30 and camped out with us.
He has a bunch more videos on his YouTube page, including clips of interviews with the News & Record and Fox 8.

The store in the Friendly Shopping Center opened its doors at 10 a.m. Hundreds lined up Saturday morning to be among the first in the Piedmont to look inside the retail home base for iPods, PowerBooks and anything with Mac DNA.
Ian Meyer waited for 16 hours, just to be first in line.
“It’s so much fun,” said Meyer. “The energy inside, the energy outside, it’s a sight to behold.”
But Meyer’s not there to buy anything.
“I’m broke. I don’t have a job. I’m just here for the experience.”
